LPL Financial Announces Rollout of AdminU Program to Retirement Partners Advisors

- Enables Support Staff of Retirement Plan-Focused Advisors to Augment Retirement Knowledge and Client-Facing Skill Sets -

Boston, August 4, 2011 - LPL Financial LLC ("LPL Financial" or "the company"), the nation's largest independent broker-dealer*, today announced that a retirement plan-focused version of its new strategic educational curriculum, Admin University (AdminU), is now available to administrative and support staff of advisors served by LPL Financial Retirement Partners.

The company launched the inaugural version of AdminU earlier this year to help advisors' support staff leverage the wealth of knowledge, resources and best practices available through LPL Financial.  Under the program, students acquire the business and interpersonal skills needed to most effectively administer a financial advisor's office, including office management, technology, client service skills and marketing proficiency.

The rollout of AdminU to the company's Retirement Partners business serves a pressing need for highly skilled and specialized client service in the retirement space.  As retirement plans becomes increasingly more complex, the administrative needs of plan sponsors and investment needs of participants intensify.
